Later today the House Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection is going to delve into Scott Perry's role in the plot. Before they do, we wanted to give you a quick recap on what's happened so far.

Scott Perry played a central role in Donald Trump's attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 Presidential election, and conspired with Trump and his team to promote the Big Lie that the election was stolen.

When the House Select Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection, and the events that led up to it, invited Scott Perry to testify, he refused. When they later subpoenaed him, he also refused to comply with the subpoena.
In the course of the January 6th investigation, we learned that Perry connected Donald Trump to Jeffrey Clark, an official in the Department of Justice who supported Trump’s efforts. Perry encouraged Trump and his team to appoint Clark Attorney General so Clark could use the credibility of the Justice Department to advance Trump's ridiculous claims of voter fraud and further cast doubt on the results of the election.
Then, during the committee's first televised hearing Rep. Liz Cheney revealed that Perry sough a Presidential pardon from Donald Trump for the role he played in the attempts to overturn the election.

Today, we are going to learn more. But one thing is certain: Scott Perry was pivotal to Donald Trump's plot to steal the election and remain in power. Scott Perry was a threat to our Democracy then, and now, as the Chair of the extremist, pro-Trump Freedom Caucus, he's one of the most dangerous members of Congress. As a mom, Shamaine shares the fears and concerns of so many of us. She believes we have a responsibility to protect our Democracy, and to create a better country, and world, for our children.
Shamaine can defeat insurrectionist Scott Perry this November, but she can't do it alone. The Tenth District is the most flippable district in Pennsylvania. We are working hard to build the strongest campaign possible to defeat Perry and we need YOUR help.
