Hi there,
Eric Sorensen, meteorologist and Democrat for Congress (IL-17). Thanks to the nicer weather we’ve been experiencing here in the Quad Cities, I’ve been spending my breaks from talking to voters out on the water. Kayaking, and exploring the many small beaches along the Mississippi River, has been my favorite way to decompress after a long day on the campaign trail.

In order to win in November, we need all hands on deck to join us in the fight against our Republican opponent. I need your help friend, as we wade through these choppy waters to keep this seat blue and to hold onto the House majority: [link removed]
Can you chip in today to help us in these crucial last few days?

P.S. I love my time out on the river, and at the same time it’s hard not to notice the effects of climate change. Increased flooding has washed away islands where pelicans, geese, and other migrating birds used to nest. If you’re able to support the climate communicator, you can do so here: [link removed]
