I ask you often for your support for our work in North Carolina. You deserve to know why, so I’d like to lay out a few of my priorities — and I’m sure that we share them.

● Defending reproductive rights: Right Wing Republicans are preparing to subvert Roe v. Wade, and securing abortion access will soon be // is now up to the states. Democratic governors are the last line of defense. As long as there are enough Democratic votes to uphold my veto in the legislature, I will make sure that reproductive rights are protected in our state.

● Expanding health care access: If the pandemic taught us anything, it has to be that health care access is a right. Every North Carolinian deserves to be able to seek the care they need to get and stay healthy.

● Upholding our democracy: By continuing to spout the Big Lie and push anti-voter and anti-democratic legislation, Republicans are preparing to subvert our electoral processes in future elections. We cannot let them succeed.
