Very best holiday greetings! We hope you are warm and safe and not too inconvenienced by the winter storms.

Anthropocene Alliance (Aa) is now well settled in Florida, (in the town of Micanopy, pop. 600) well away from the frequently flooded coasts. But global warming is felt here too. We experienced one of the hottest summers on record, a portent of things to come unless we take action. And that’s what Aa is doing!

In the last year we established the largest flood survivor network in the U.S., with forty-five member chapters in 22 U.S. States. Together, we’ve organized and protested ([link removed]) to stop flooding, end destructive developments ([link removed]) in flood prone areas, and help flood survivors access federal funds for property buyouts and elevation
