Dear Friends,

Very best holiday greetings! We hope you are warm and safe and not too inconvenienced by the winter storms.

Anthropocene Alliance (Aa) is now well settled in Florida, (in the town of Micanopy, pop. 600) well away from the frequently flooded coasts. But global warming is felt here too. We experienced one of the hottest summers on record, a portent of things to come unless we take action. And that’s what Aa is doing!
Members of A Community Voice from New Orleans, LA.
In the last year we established the largest flood survivor network in the U.S., with forty-five member chapters in 22 U.S. States.  Together, we’ve organized and protested to stop flooding,  end destructive developments in flood prone areas, and help flood survivors access federal funds for property buyouts and elevation

This Tuesday is Giving Tuesday. Aa is a small, but highly effective organization. For every $1 invested in Aa, $5 is donated in kind through our network of pro bono scientists, lawyers, insurance experts, and planners. Your donation of any size will go directly to the front line communities most profoundly impacted by global warming. Please take this opportunity to be generous if you are able.

Best regards and many thanks,
