On Saturday, June 11th, March For Our Lives is holding a nationwide protest to call on our elected officials to address the gun violence plaguing our country. AYD will be joining the march, if you'd like to participate - we're meeting up at 11am on the steps of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.
Happening later that same day is Capital Pride! AYD will be meeting up at the entrance of the Foggy Bottom metro at 2:30pm to walk over to watch the parade together.
Be prepared for hot weather, dress appropriately, and remember to hydrate!

We encourage folks to take metro and meet us at the south steps of the Natural History Museum at 11am, then we will walk over to the march by the Washington Monument.

Join AYD to watch the Capital Pride Parade in DC! We'll meet at 2:30pm at the entrance of Foggy Bottom Metro entrance and walk over to Dupont together by 2:40pm to find a spot to watch the Parade.
Be sure to prepared for hot weather, i.e. wear sunscreen, sun protective light clothing, bring water, snacks, comfortable walking shoes, etc. Heat stroke is no joke!
