On Saturday, June 11th, March For Our Lives is holding a nationwide protest to call on our elected officials to address the gun violence plaguing our country. AYD will be joining the march, if you'd like to participate - we're meeting up at 11am on the steps of the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.
Happening later that same day is Capital Pride! AYD will be meeting up at the entrance of the Foggy Bottom metro at 2:30pm to walk over to watch the parade together. Be prepared for hot weather, dress appropriately, and remember to hydrate! And a reminder that early voting is underway for the June 21st primary in Virginia. Skip the lines, make a plan — it’s time to go to the polls!
