Have you ever noticed how the moment a shooting happens, the radical left and
themedia scramble to blame Republicans?
 

I have watched the events in Texas this past week with a mixture of shock,
grief andhorror, like every American. That’s how normal people react when
tragedy strikes. Butnot the liberal media–they only care about trying to score
points. And I’ve lived this firsthand.

You see, in 2017 a deranged Bernie Sanders supporter shot up the field where
Republicans were practicing for our annual Congressional Baseball Game for
Charity.

After the shooter had been neutralized, I was immediately surrounded by liberal
reporters who had rushed to the scene.

The top question from these liberal reporters wasn’t about the well-being of
the peoplewho had been shot at.

It was pure politics — “Does this change your views on the gun situation in
America?”

My response: “The Second Amendment right to bear arms is to help ensure we
alwayshave a republic. So no, I’m not changing my position on any of the rights
we enjoyas Americans.”

I’m not a fair-weather friend of our Constitutional rights. And I think
Washington, DCcould use more Republicans who will not retreat when hounded by
the liberal press.

That’s why I’m running for United States Senate. Because we need more
Republicanswho will not back down in the face of the liberal media or the
Democrats.
