Recently, a Wisconsin middle school opened a Title IX investigation into three 8th-grade students. If only that were a sad joke. The boys, who as 8th graders would be approximately 13 years old, are accused of unlawful sexual harassment because they allegedly failed to use preferred pronouns in reference to a classmate ([link removed]) who asked to be identified as “they” or “them.” Read more. Unfortunately, there is another equally disastrous energy problem that has yet to hit the headlines ([link removed]) . A recent report from NERC, the agency charged with assessing our nation’s grid reliability, has warned that over two-thirds of Americans are at high or elevated risks of power outages this summer. For decades, Kellyanne Conway has been one of the brightest lights on the national political scene. She was a highly respected pollster, lawyer, and frequent television talk show guest before Donald Trump asked her to run his presidential campaign, delivering him to the White House, and becoming the first woman in American history to manage a winning presidential campaign.

Join us and Kellyanne Conway for our next #IWReads event on June 16. We will discuss her new book, Here's the Deal, a personal memoir that takes you on a raw, honest journey of her professional and personal highs and lows.

** Good Riddance to California’s Paternalistic Female Board Member Requirement ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
California has sought to belittle the power that women today have amassed. In 2018, the Golden State felt it necessary to require that corporate boards include one to three women (if they can define one!), depending on the board’s size.
