<p><strong>The cities of Auburn &amp; Lewiston are honored to invite you to join us on Friday, June 10 at 5:30PM as we dedicate the John T. Jenkins Memorial Footbridge.</strong></p>
<p>Like our beloved friend, who was a mentor, teacher, community leader and mayor of both cities, this beautiful bridge connects and unites our two communities. It seems only fitting that we should honor him in this way&hellip;we hope you will join us.</p>

<p><strong>The dedication ceremony will be held in the middle of the footbridge.&nbsp;There will also be activities on both sides of the river prior to the ceremony to commemorate some of John&rsquo;s favorite things:</strong></p>
<p>3:30PM in Lewiston | Children&rsquo;s storytime: &ldquo;Teamwork: Together Each Action Matters&rdquo; with Mayor Carl L. Sheline [Simard-Payne Park]</p>
<p>4:30PM in Auburn | Karate demonstration by Phoenix No Limits Karate [Bonney Park]</p>
<p>5:00PM in Auburn | Tai Chi demonstration by Seniors Plus [Bonney Park]<br /><br /><br /></p>
<p>Parking in Auburn&nbsp; |&nbsp; Park at Bonney Park (Main St.) or in Great Falls Plaza &amp; follow the Riverwalk to the ceremony. Enjoy photos &amp; stories about John&rsquo;s life along the way.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Parking in Lewiston&nbsp; |&nbsp; Event parking is available in Simard-Payne Park, in the Chestnut Street Parking Garage or on-street.</p>
