[Take pride in your mental health journey]([link removed])

June is Pride Month, and AFSP is committed to supporting the mental health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people.

We can all play a role in promoting the well-being of LGBTQ communities, and AFSP offers a variety of opportunities to get involved in this important work.

As a starting place, we encourage you to visit [AFSP’s LGBTQ Resource Guide]([link removed]) where you’ll find ways to help suicide prevention in LGBTQ communities, connect to culturally competent care and learn more about LGBTQ suicide research. You can also join AFSP in [advocating]([link removed]) for much-needed legislation protecting the rights of LGBTQ communities and in [amplifying the voices]([link removed]) of LGBTQ people who share their diverse stories.

Each action matters and we are stronger together. We hope you’ll join our efforts to support LGBTQ mental health in June and beyond.
