Again, our hearts have been shattered -- by the unspeakable horror of the school shooting in Uvalde, by the shooting at Irvine Taiwanese Presbyterian Church in Orange County, and by the white supremacist murders in Buffalo, NY.

Again, our communities are struggling to manage overwhelming grief, loss, and pain. And again, in the wake of yet another tragedy, we hear calls for change echoing across the country.

As reproductive justice leaders in our movement have taught us, there is no reproductive freedom without the ability to raise children in safe and healthy environments, free of violence. As we face an existential crisis in abortion access, we know our fights for freedom and justice are deeply interconnected.
