The California primary is less than two weeks away and our team is making our final preparations to mobilize volunteers and turn out voters before June 7th.

But even before that, we have another important date marked on the calendar: Our May fundraising deadline on Tuesday.

This will be our final chance to add a surge of energy to our campaign before we execute our get-out-the-vote strategy. This deadline couldn’t come at a more critical time, which is why I’m reaching out to you today:

June 7th’s jungle primary will be the first test of our grassroots movement’s strength, as it will be the first time I’m on the ballot in California’s newly-drawn 12th congressional district.

We’re engaging voters, knocking on doors, making phone calls, and ensuring voters have a plan to cast their ballots.

This work can be costly, which is why I’m counting on a surge of grassroots support to help us reach our end-of-month goal and boost voter turnout for the primary election.

We can’t afford a slowdown in our grassroots fundraising this close to the primary election, which is why my team is setting a $50,000 grassroots goal to keep us on track.
