But even before that, we have another important date marked on the calendar: Our May fundraising deadline on Tuesday.

This will be our final chance to add a surge of energy to our campaign before we execute our get-out-the-vote strategy. This deadline couldn’t come at a more critical time, which is why I’m reaching out to you today:

June 7th’s jungle primary will be the first test of our grassroots movement’s strength, as it will be the first time I’m on the ballot in California’s newly-drawn 12th congressional district.

We’re engaging voters, knocking on doors, making phone calls, and ensuring voters have a plan to cast their ballots.

This work can be costly, which is why I’m counting on a surge of grassroots support to help us reach our end-of-month goal and boost voter turnout for the primary election.
