For years, Environment Colorado and our national network have been working to protect our public lands from mining, logging and development. Through our research, public education and organizing, we're working with our national network to urge decision-makers to protect 30% of our lands and oceans by 2030.
This bill would help us move one step closer to this goal by designating tens of thousands of acres of wilderness areas as the Shenandoah Mountain National Scenic Area.[3]
