    The 2019 Nominations Committee Election has concluded. With 118 ballots cast the following fellow DSA-LAers have been elected to conduct elections :

- Alex Wi
- Conor M
- Dakota H

The Nominations Committee is responsible for the Local & Branch Officers in December 2019 as well as the elections for officers of all other local subgroups in January 2020. For our chapter, this means that anyone who plans to run for Local or Branch Officer positions should keep an eye out for communications from our Nominations Committee regarding  the details of the forthcoming filing period and candidate forum(s).

     To get a refresher on Local Officer duties and responsibilities and/or to learn about the various Local Officer positions, please refer to Article VIII of our bylaws <[link removed]>. To learn about Branch Officer (Coordinator) duties and responsibilities, please refer to Article V, Section 2 of our bylaws <[link removed]>.

Developing new leaders is an important part of building a strong Left in Los Angeles — we encourage you to consider running for one of these important positions!
