Hi team,
I just want to make sure you saw the exciting announcement of our first Plains State partner state – Oklahoma! This largely rural ‘red’ state’s legislature frequently makes national news for being amongst the most regressive in the country. That’s one of many reasons I am thrilled that Groundwork Project gets to support organizers fighting back in this critical state.
We know that long-term change doesn’t happen from the top down, and hyperlocal organizations and leaders on the ground are the best folks to shift the political trajectory of their state. That’s why we’re gearing up to send our grant funds to community organizers, local leaders, advocates, and activists across Oklahoma that have traditionally been under-resourced, excluded, and ignored.
Friend, can you help make it happen? Contribute $20 or anything you can before our next budgeting deadline this Wednesday! [[link removed]]

Oklahomans have been organizing on the ground and doing the work to fight back against anti-democratic legislation sweeping their state. Now it’s our turn to step up.
