Hi supporter,

We’re just a few days away from the Federal Election on May 21. Every election is important - but this one is huge for the future of our NDIS.

Because of your actions, the NDIS has been a key election issue this year. So let's keep it in the spotlight!

Melbourne rally & march to #DefendOurNDIS

On Thursday—less than 48 hours before polling booths open—people with disability, families, advocates and supporters will be rallying outside the NDIA offices in Melbourne, then marching down to the AAT.

The trip from the NDIA to the AAT will take around 10 minutes. But as far too many of you know, it's never that quick or easy in reality.

That's why we're marching.

Getting the supports you need from the NDIS should never be such a long, intimidating, confusing and lonely journey.

But before we leave the NDIA - we will hear a handful of short and powerful stories from people who have been down this road before - people with disability, AAT appeals advocates, lawyers, and family members.

We'll also have a few politicians there to tell us briefly about their plans for the NDIS, including:

đź“Ł If you can be in Melbourne this Thursday, join us [[link removed]]!

♿️ We've pulled together some info on all things accessibility (and will update it with new info as we can). Check out our rally access key here [[link removed]].

Register for the Melbourne rally [[link removed]] Can’t make it in person? You can still get involved!

Of course not everyone can join us in Melbourne, but we would still love to have you involved!

📺 Want to watch it online? You'll be able to watch it live (with captions) from Facebook [[link removed]] or YouTube [[link removed]]. We’ll send out a reminder email on Thursday morning just in case.

✂️ Want to tell your NDIS cuts or appeals story? You can do that here. [[link removed]]We won't share anything you say unless you want us to.

Don’t forget to email your local candidates!

There are still a few days before voting closes, to make sure all the pollies who want your vote know they have to work for it!

📮 We’ve got a quick & easy website form for you right here [[link removed]].

Already sent it? Why not ask your family and friends to send an email too? It only takes a couple of minutes, but the difference it makes is huge.

We hope to see you on Thursday, either in-person or online!

Thank you for all you have been doing,

Jean and the Every Australian Counts team
