Every election is important - but this one is huge for the future of our NDIS. Because of your actions, the NDIS has been a key election issue this year. So let's keep it in the spotlight! Melbourne rally & march to #DefendOurNDISOn Thursday—less than 48 hours before polling booths open—people with disability, families, advocates and supporters will be rallying outside the NDIA offices in Melbourne, then marching down to the AAT. The trip from the NDIA to the AAT will take around 10 minutes. But as far too many of you know, it's never that quick or easy in reality. That's why we're marching. Getting the supports you need from the NDIS should never be such a long, intimidating, confusing and lonely journey. But before we leave the NDIA - we will hear a handful of short and powerful stories from people who have been down this road before - people with disability, AAT appeals advocates, lawyers, and family members. We'll also have a few politicians there to tell us briefly about their plans for the NDIS, including:
