Dear John,

I hope you will be joining us as we come together in person for the first time in three years for our 2022 Annual Meeting on June 2, "Marking 50 Years of Accomplishments and Charting the Course for Challenges Ahead."

We have not yet received your registration for the event and hope to confirm your attendance by May 16.

It will be an exciting day with a number of speakers and panelists from whom I am sure you will want to hear.

• Mallory Stewart, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance, will offer the Biden administration's perspective on the enduring value of nuclear risk reduction and nuclear arms control.

• Izumi Nakamitsu, Under-Secretary-General and UN High Representative for Disarmament, will talk about the challenges facing multilateral arms control and nonproliferation agreements.

Further, our expert panelists will
• assess the impact of new weapons technologies today and tomorrow
• address the potential developments in nuclear weapons policy in in the wake of Russia's war on Ukraine
• advise on how we can reinforce nonproliferation and disarmament guardrails, and
• offer their suggestions on the future of the nuclear disarmament movement.

The full program with panels and speakers is now available at ArmsControl.org/ArmsControl2022

Following the program at the National Press Club, we hope you will also join us at the DACOR-Bacon House (near the White House and State Department) for a special 50th Anniversary Reception with friends and alumni from years past.

Please also consider supporting our work into the future by becoming a 50th Anniversary Sponsor when you register. You can learn how your extra support will propel our work forward on our sponsors page at ArmsControl.org/ArmsControl2022/sponsors.

I look forward to seeing you June 2!
