As part of our efforts in demanding #MoreForMentalHealth this Mental Health Awareness Month, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention published a striking [open letter in the New York Times]([link removed]) on Sunday, May 2, reminding people that together, we can all help to create much-needed change – and that the time to get involved is NOW.

The letter is a call to action for all Americans to make their voice heard in supporting the legislation and policies we know through research save lives. It has been co-signed in partnership with:

- Inseparable
- Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute
- Mental Health America
- National Alliance on Mental Illness
- National Council for Mental Wellbeing
- Well Being Trust
