As part of our efforts in demanding #MoreForMentalHealth thisMental Health Awareness Month, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention published a striking open letter in the New York Times on Sunday, May 2, reminding people that together, we can all help to create much-needed change – and that the time to get involved is NOW.
The letter is a call to action for all Americans to make their voice heard in supporting the legislation and policies we know through research save lives. It has been co-signed in partnership with:
American Psychiatric Association
American Psychological Association
Inseparable
Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute
Mental Health America
National Alliance on Mental Illness
National Council for Mental Wellbeing
Well Being Trust
We’re pleased to share our letter with you and encourage you to share it with others to amplify the change we can achieve and join AFSP in demanding #MoreForMentalHealth.
