John, Great news! According to a new poll released by FOX News this week, Republicans are up 7 points on the generic ballot, & ABC News also reported that voters trust Republicans over Democrats when it comes to handling crime, the economy, and inflation. As I’ve been out in KS-03 talking with voters over the past several months, these really are the three issues I hear about most. I will continue to advocate for safe communities for all Kansans and economic policies that don’t stop families from reaching their American Dream. It’s clear our momentum is building, and I couldn’t be more excited to keep meeting voters and talking about the issues that matter most to them. Meeting with Hispanic Business Leaders Yesterday, Titan Environmental Services hosted a roundtable discussion and lunch for me. Titan is a Latina-owned business in Kansas City, KS, and I am so thankful I had the chance to meet with several Hispanic business leaders to discuss ways that the government can get out of the way to let their businesses thrive. These leaders relayed the difficulties of being a business owner during the Biden Administration. From being unable to find workers to facing increasing regulations and rising prices, Democrats are making it more difficult for small businesses to operate. We also spoke about ways I can support the entrepreneurial spirit in our community once elected. I also had a great time celebrating Cinco de Mayo with Tico Productions, another fantastic Hispanic owned small business. Tico celebrated their tenth anniversary this past week, and it was a night full of great food and great company celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit of the Kansas City community!
