Detroit DSA is an 800+ member funded organization. We receive no money from outside sources so we can say things like "Defund the Police" and "Abolish ICE" without losing funding, and we will always act democratically in the interests of our members and the working class! If you're able to, we ask that you make monthly contributions as they more directly benefit our chapter. Thank you for whatever amount you're able to contribute!
Our records indicate that you are not yeta member. If you're ready to join us in our fight for the working class, go to dsausa.org/join <[link removed]>andjoin today!

Comrade Friend --
This weekend, we're meeting in Clark Park for our first in-person (weather permitting) General Membership Meeting of the year! Our Political Education Committee will be a leading a discussion on "Why An Organization", we'll have updates on our labor organizing and our DSA for Rashida Campaign, and we'll let you know how you can run for our next Steering Committee in June! We'll also hear from comrades organizing around abortion rights and there will be a rally to attend immediately following the meeting. We're hoping to see you (and plenty of sun) out there!
Lastly, our Political Education Committee has two upcoming events - book clubs for "Climate Change as Class War" meeting later this month and "Whose Detroit?" in late June. Both authors will be attending these meetings! Read on for details on how you can join them.
Solidarity forever,
