Arms Control Association Annual Meeting
Marking 50 Years of Accomplishments and Charting the Course for the Challenges Ahead

National Press Club • Washington, D.C.
June 2, 2022

Dear friends,

Please join us for this high-level, one-day conference in Washington, D.C., which will examine the nuclear threat in the wake of Russia's war on Ukraine, how to reinforce the arms control and nonproliferation system, the impact of new weapons technologies, and the future of the nuclear disarmament movement.

Keynote speakers include: Mallory Stewart, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance; Izumi Nakamitsu, UN High Representative for Disarmament; and Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR), co-chair of the Congressional Working Group on Nuclear Weapons and Arms Control.

The full program with panels and speakers is now available at ArmsControl.org/ArmsControl2022

Following the day's panels and keynote speakers, attendees and alumni are invited to our special 50th Anniversary Reception in the gardens at the DACOR-Bacon House, located near the White House and State Department.

To help propel the Arms Control Association forward in our next 50 years, we invite you to also become a 50th Anniversary Sponsor when you register. Learn more and become a sponsor at ArmsControl.org/ArmsControl2022/sponsors.
