Greetings Michigan Dems!
I want to start by first thanking all of you that participated in our recent endorsement convention. The team at MDP worked hard to ensure that everyone, in every corner of the state could participate either in person or virtually. Thank you for your patience, your enthusiasm, and your continued support.
We endorsed an incredible slate of candidates [[link removed]] to join the Democratic ticket alongside Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist. We have wasted no time getting out on the doors and talking to voters every day across the state about these candidates and the importance of defending democracy in 2022. I invite you to join us and find an opportunity to volunteer near you [[link removed]] .
I said it in 2018 and in 2020, and I am saying it again in 2022, this is the most important election of our lifetime. The GOP and their disinformation campaign is continuing to gain strength and our only way to stop them is to elect Democrats that believe in our fundamental rights like reproductive freedom, public education, and access to voting. We also need Democrats that are committed to rebuilding our economy, investing in infrastructure, and supporting our labor community. Gretchen Whitmer started doing this day 1 in office and this is why we must re-elect her in November.
I am looking forward to working alongside all of you until the polls close on November 8, 2022, just 190 days away.
Go Dems!
