May 3 Election Information
Local elections in these counties, and special elections to fill vacant State House seats in House Districts 15, 36, 43, and 74, are this coming Tuesday, May 3. Polls will be open from 7 am to 8 pm. Find your polling place at michigan.gov/vote.
Absentee ballots must be received by your city or township clerk by 8 pm on May 3. If you have not yet returned your ballot, take it to your clerk’s office or return it to your clerk’s secure drop box rather than mailing it, to make sure it arrives on time. Find your local Clerk here.
You can apply for an absentee ballot in person at your township clerk’s office until 4 pm on Monday, May 2 and vote it right there. If you aren’t yet registered to vote, you can register in person at your city or township clerk’s office with proof of residency, and then vote an absentee ballot there, up until 8 pm on May 3. Find your local Clerk here.
