This week, my team launched a campaign calling on the Brazilian government to
ban the export of live animals for slaughter.

These animals often travel thousands of miles in unimaginable conditions, only
to be killed at the end of their journeys in the cruelest ways possible.

Mercy For Animals Brazil has released a new video [[link removed]] uncovering animals corralled onto massive ships to be transported across the
Atlantic Ocean. Injured cows are dragged out of the ship by a crane. These terrified animals hang painfully suspended in the air by one leg.

Inside slaughterhouses in the Middle East, workers repeatedly stab the animals.

In one clip, workers corner a steer and throw severed hooves at him .
