New campaign launches in Brazil.

‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌

John, I just heard from our Brazil team that the debate over the treatment of farmed animals has intensified in the country since we released footage last week showing live, conscious animals hung by one leg and brutally stabbed.

Our supporters in Brazil are contacting their members of Congress to demand an end to this animal suffering. If you live outside Brazil, the best way you can help right now is with financial support to sustain these and our other efforts to protect farmed animals. Today, any donation you make (up to $750,000) will be matched. Please help us bring hope to these animals who languish in pain for weeks. —Leah

MAKE TWICE THE DIFFERENCE FOR ANIMALS
RAISED: $61,130 GOAL: $750,000
Dear John,

This week, my team launched a campaign calling on the Brazilian government to ban the export of live animals for slaughter.

These animals often travel thousands of miles in unimaginable conditions, only to be killed at the end of their journeys in the cruelest ways possible.

Mercy For Animals Brazil has released a new video uncovering animals corralled onto massive ships to be transported across the Atlantic Ocean. Injured cows are dragged out of the ship by a crane. These terrified animals hang painfully suspended in the air by one leg.

Inside slaughterhouses in the Middle East, workers repeatedly stab the animals.

In one clip, workers corner a steer and throw severed hooves at him.

John, we must stop this. In my country, we are planning huge, eye-catching demonstrations and gathering signatures for a petition calling on the government to put an end to this cruel industry. You can add your voice to it here.

We also need resources. Our year-end match campaign is one of the most effective ways to stretch your donation to help more farmed animals suffering around the world.

Donate today and your gift will be doubled.

Please be a hero for the animals who so desperately depend on you.
DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT
