As Boston’s Welcome Center for immigrant and refugee families, day in and day out, our immigration attorneys, social workers, and educators are providing critical support services to newcomers from around the globe.

Immigrant families arrive to find a pathway to a new beginning, and those who are already here hope to reunite family members who remain in countries experiencing such tremendous unrest.

Your support today will help Rian empower more than 3500 immigrant families each year on their journey!

Recently, one of our attorneys represented Celena, a mother of three from the Dominican Republic who is now living in Boston. Celena has been separated from her children since 2016, and has not been able to see them since she fled for her life. The children have been staying with relatives, and have experienced great emotional and financial hardship because of the separation. Celena had petitioned for her children to be able to join her, but with the government’s very slow processing times and the pandemic-related delays, this difficult separation was prolonged for years. However, with Rian's legal assistance, the children were recently issued with travel documents and will soon be joyfully and safely reunited.

By making a gift today you will be helping Rian reunite hundreds of families like Celena's
