I am inspired by you (collectively).
------------------------------------------------------------
In last week's email, I asked you what you'd reflected on during Good Friday or Easter this year. I received many responses; they were vulnerable and beautiful and sad and, perhaps above all, filled with hope.
I always love hearing from you all, which is why I invite replies every week. This time was even more special. You shared candid reflections about death, illness, war, violence, forgiveness, solitude, and more. But woven through these painful emails were the reality of Christ's solidarity and the hope of Christ's resurrection.
These themes tie in with several new pieces at the Century. We have a poem about Jesus standing at the door ([link removed]) , an article about God's gift of tears ([link removed]) , and a theologically rich interview with Rowan Williams ([link removed]) . Plus there's plenty more below.
Email me: Do you have hope? If so, what inspires it?
