Hey there,

I've got some good news and some bad news. (Don't have time to read the whole thing and just want to donate? Here's a special link: [link removed].)

First, the good news: We hit our October goal thanks to help from folks like you! I've gotta say, it felt pretty good to color in the thermometer on the wall we've been using to measure our progress. It's a huge deal for this team every time we hit a goal, because it's a tangible way to tell we are building the resources we need to beat Sen. Cornyn.

But here's the bad news: Our November goal is even more ambitious -- it has to be if we're going to win this race. And look, we've set big goals in the past and reached them. But Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and folks will be tuning out this race in favor of family time, so we need to get a head start. That's why we're setting a Pre-Thanksgiving Goal of raising an additional $20,000 before the holiday.

We know you'll probably be busy cooking or spending time with family on Thanksgiving Day itself, so can you pitch in right now to help us reach our Pre-Thanksgiving Goal before midnight tomorrow?
