Encourage Your Students to Join the Debate On April 7th, the United States Senate confirmed Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. The final confirmation vote tally was split almost entirely along party lines as all Democratic senators voted to confirm while all but three Republican senators voted against her nomination, leading some to argue that the entire confirmation process has become too political.
