The King's Chronicle: April 18, 2022

Hi Team,

As you know, we recently launched TWO new ads on TV that are already creating a lot of buzz and momentum here in Maryland. We wanted to be sure you had a chance to check them out, and share with us which one you like best! You can watch both ads and vote for your favorite here: that as many voters as possible can see it, too.

In order to give our new ads the boost they need and spread the word about why now is the right moment to elect a teacher as governor, we need your help to share these ads far and wide on social media and through your personal networks.

Team King Updates

WE'RE ON THE AIR : The campaign just launched not one, but TWO ads on TV this past week. The first ad, “Three Generations,” tells the story of how John’s family went from being enslaved in a cabin in Gaithersburg to serving in the cabinet of the first Black president and why his story of generational progress has shaped his vision to guarantee opportunities for all Marylanders. In our second ad, “Education is the Difference,” John shares how public school saved his life and how, as a public school parent, he understands the supports Maryland families, students, and educators need to not just to survive, but to thrive after two very difficult years.
