🚆 Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg wants to bring high-speed rail to the U.S. 🚆 [[link removed]]

Team,

In case you missed it, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg announced that he wants to make the U.S. a leader in high-speed rail again. It’s a position we haven’t held in decades!

"We've been asked to settle for less in this country… I just don't know why people in other countries ought to have better train service and more investment in high-speed train service than Americans." - Pete Buttigieg

Back in 1959, the U.S. had the fastest trains in the world. Now, 18 countries have trains faster than the U.S.’s highest-speed train.

But high speed trains aren’t just better for the environment – they create jobs, reduce traffic congestion, and open up parts of the country that were previously inaccessible to Americans without cars.

So, The C6 Project wants to know: Do you support Pete Buttigieg’s plan to revitalize high-speed rail in the U.S.? Take our 1-minute poll and share your thoughts >>> [[link removed]]
