** PICKET AT CITY HALL TUESDAY
------------------------------------------------------------

The City of Santa Barbara's General Unit, which represents the lowest paid and most diverse salaried workers at the City, is calling on the public to show up on Tuesday April 19th, 1pm at City Hall as they demand a fair wage AND rent control.

Rent control will be on the agenda Tuesday, and a coalition of housing justice groups including CAUSE, SBTU, and DSA will stand shoulder to shoulder with organized labor at the City to demand action from City Council to keep workers local. Santa Barbara workers need a raise and rent control to live in the city they serve!

Join SEIU 620 General Unit Workers, members from CAUSE, SBTU, DSA, and local unions alongside supporters from the general public for a day of action! All are welcome, bring a friend.

WHEN: Tues., Apr. 19, 2022 at 1 PM
WHERE: Front Steps of City Hall, De La Guerra Plaza
