Dear advocate,
A childβs vision of the world β and of what justice can look like β begins with what they learn in school. Thatβs why our K-12 Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Curriculum Task Force ([link removed]) is creating a database of curriculum that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive in its treatment of AANHPI history.
Getting that curriculum into classrooms depends on your support. And since finances are top of mind this tax season, I want to highlight one way you can show up for the students, parents, educators, and advocates leading this effort: donating your appreciated stock! ([link removed])
If you have stock, turning it into a tool for educational advocacy is easier than you might think. It works like this:
1. The secure stock donation platform below helps you fill out the necessary paperwork online in minutes, with the option to print and mail them if you prefer.
2. OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates will be notified of your gift so we can thank you, update our records, and make sure your gift has the greatest impact possible.
3. Our K-12 AANHPI Curriculum Task Force immediately puts the full value of your stock to work to integrate our curriculum into K-12 classrooms nationwide!
π USE MY STOCK FOR GOOD ([link removed])
Every single gift helps, and stock gifts can maximize your impact while keeping your giving sustainable.
Make a simple stock transfer today ([link removed]) and join our effort to promote understanding, build a mutual understanding of shared struggles, and foster empathy through truly equitable education.
Best,
