Dear advocate,
A child’s vision of the world — and of what justice can look like — begins with what they learn in school. That’s why our K-12 Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Curriculum Task Force is creating a database of curriculum that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive in its treatment of AANHPI history.
Getting that curriculum into classrooms depends on your support. And since finances are top of mind this tax season, I want to highlight one way you can show up for the students, parents, educators, and advocates leading this effort: donating your appreciated stock!
If you have stock, turning it into a tool for educational advocacy is easier than you might think. It works like this:
- The secure stock donation platform below helps you fill out the necessary paperwork online in minutes, with the option to print and mail them if you prefer.
- OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates will be notified of your gift so we can thank you, update our records, and make sure your gift has the greatest impact possible.
- Our K-12 AANHPI Curriculum Task Force immediately puts the full value of your stock to work to integrate our curriculum into K-12 classrooms nationwide!
