My name is Michael Finch, and I'm the president of the David
Horowitz Freedom Center.



What our founder - David Horowitz - immediately recognized in
Candace, Charlie, and James, was a fire for our country that
couldn't be put out.



They had a lot in common: they were smart, they were driven and
they were scrappy.



They were braver than sitting politicians old enough to be their
grandparents.



They didn't care who came after them, who threatened them, who
dragged their names through the mud - nothing would stop them.



They had very different visions and missions, but early on, our
founder saw that these young people had the potential to change
our country for the better.



And David knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that the fire they
possessed had the power to restore our once-great country and
change hearts and minds.



David instantly knew we had to do everything we could to get them
off the ground.



With the full force of Freedom Center, we got Candace Owens,
Charlie Kirk, James O'Keefe and others the funding and mentorship
they needed early on, and set them on their paths forward.



David took them under his wing and gave them all of the guidance
and support he could offer - but it was only possible with the

Because frankly, for our founder, it's personal. That's because,
many years ago when David was their age, he was leading the
movement to destroy America, not save it.



50 years ago he was a Marxist revolutionary determined to bring
America as we know it to her end.



He was side by side with Huey Newton and the leaders of the Black
Panthers. He edited Ramparts - the largest magazine of the
radical Left. He marched, he wrote manifestos, and he attacked
America whenever and however he could.



Then the Panthers murdered his friend, and the Left helped the
Communists win the war in Vietnam, and his eyes finally opened to
the incredible evil his "comrades" made possible. So he left.



He cast his 1984 ballot for Ronald Reagan and never looked back.




He created the David Horowitz Freedom Center to expose the Left's
wicked nature far and wide - because he knew their sinister plot
hinged on public deception.



He knew the Left was lying to the American people, and as long as
their lies went undetected, they would become all the more
powerful.


He created the Freedom Center because he had an understanding of
the threat facing our country unlike anyone on the right. He knew
what was at stake, and he knew that if he didn't tell the
American people what was happening, we would lose our country
forever.



For 30 years now, we've published the hard-hitting articles,
pamphlets, books and in-depth profiles, uncovering the Left's
most well-kept secrets.



We've launched guerilla campaigns and hosted speaking engagements
across the country, cutting through the media middlemen and going
straight to the people.



We've been physically, financially, and institutionally attacked
by the Left's most powerful players - because they know just how
effective we are.



David and the Freedom Center have played a critical role in
exposing the Left's radical schemes to millions of Americans for
decades...

We also hosted Catherine Engelbrecht years ago when she was just
getting True the Vote launched. The list goes on and on.



David was determined to help them because he knew firsthand just
how much damage a young person with influence could do - and on
the other hand, just how much good they could do.



I look at all they've been able to accomplish since we first met
them, and I couldn't be more proud.




They're fighting with everything they have for this country, and
if America will be saved it will be thanks to patriots like them
- and most of all, patriots like you.


I'm grateful to have been able to help them, and I'm writing to
you today because our country is in desperate need of more
pundits, activists and journalists like them.



And I want to be able to help the next talented up and comer the
way we were able to help Candace, Charlie, and James. I hope you
