That's because, many years ago when David was their age, he was leading the movement to destroy America, not save it. 50 years ago he was a Marxist revolutionary determined to bring America as we know it to her end. He was side by side with Huey Newton and the leaders of the Black Panthers. He edited Ramparts - the largest magazine of the radical Left. He marched, he wrote manifestos, and he attacked America whenever and however he could. Then the Panthers murdered his friend, and the Left helped the Communists win the war in Vietnam, and his eyes finally opened to the incredible evil his "comrades" made possible. So he left. He cast his 1984 ballot for Ronald Reagan and never looked back. He created the David Horowitz Freedom Center to expose the Left's wicked nature far and wide - because he knew their sinister plot hinged on public deception. He knew the Left was lying to the American people, and as long as their lies went undetected, they would become all the more powerful.
