Friend, Nobody needs to explain how the fallout from the opioid and fentanyl addiction crisis is impacting our cities and neighborhoods. But many people don’t know that the Biden Administration is exploring the creation of taxpayer-funded drug injection sites in our communities. SAY "NO" TO TAXPAYER-FUNDED DRUG SITES There is nothing humane or compassionate about enabling illegal drug use. In fact, Canada has tried offering these safe havens for heroin and narcotics, and while overdose deaths didn’t go down, dangerous debris laying around on the streets including crack pipes and needles went up. Crime did too. America’s addiction crisis demands more effective resources for treatment and prevention – not more locations in our communities for individuals to use deadly drugs, funded by your hard-earned tax dollars. I’m working in Congress to halt this dangerous plan in its tracks and prohibit a single dollar of federal taxpayer money from being used to create safe havens for heroin and narcotic use.
