But seriously — Florida’s new “Don’t Say Gay” law is beyond reprehensible. [[link removed]]
The vaguely worded law opens up queer youth to even MORE persecution, empowers bigots to sue teachers and school districts, and even FORCES “school counselors to ‘out’ LGBTQ+ children to their parents”
This bill is disgusting and I promise, as the next Representative of Florida’s 15th District, I’ll always defend LGBTQ+ youth and push back against these cruel laws. [[link removed]]
