But seriously — Florida’s new “Don’t Say Gay” law is beyond reprehensible.
The vaguely worded law opens up queer youth to even MORE persecution, empowers bigots to sue teachers and school districts, and even FORCES “school counselors to ‘out’ LGBTQ+ children to their parents”
This bill is disgusting and I promise, as the next Representative of Florida’s 15th District, I’ll always defend LGBTQ+ youth and push back against these cruel laws.
But right now I’m running against two MAGA Republicans — one even voted for the very same “Don’t Say Gay” bill!
