Recent polls show that at least 83% of Americans support the U.S.
government negotiating with pharmaceutical companies to lower drug prices.
Why is it so hard to turn this hugely popular policy into law?

The short answer: Big Pharma is one of the most powerful lobbies in
Washington. And with Democrats’ razor-thin majorities, they only need a
few politicians on their payroll. Just look at the members of Congress
blocking drug pricing reform — practically all of them have taken tens of
thousands from Big Pharma.

Since launching our first campaign for Congress, Ro’s refused to take a
single penny from PACs or lobbyists. That’s why we’re at the forefront of
the fight for drug pricing reform and other popular progressive policies.
But we need your help to take on Big Pharma’s hundreds of millions of
dollars in political spending.

families tens of billions of dollars a year. Will you chip in
$5 today to our 100% grassroots movement so we can keep up
the fight?

Big Pharma spends more on lobbying than any other sector. And it’s paying
off. These companies continue to rake in massive profits, even as 18
million Americans report being unable to afford a prescription medication.

This Democratic-controlled Congress has a mandate from the American people
to lower prescription drug prices. We can’t let special interests win.

[ [link removed] ]Every single grassroots donation to our progressive movement makes us
stronger, and we’re counting on your support as we take on Big Pharma. If
you’re able, please consider pitching in $5 or any amount
you can now.

We’ll keep holding the line in Congress, and fighting to put working
peoples’ interests ahead of corporate profits. Thank you for being a part
of this fight.
