We are pleased to announce the winner of our last Monday Nature Mystery, Eric Anderson! Please email us your snail mail address and preference for a hat or tote bag to: [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=Monday%20Nature%20Mystery%20Winner!)
Congratulations to Eric for correctly identifying a female Palm Warbler (Setophaga palmarum). According to All About Birds ([link removed]) , Palm Warblers breed in bogs and areas with scattered evergreen trees and thick ground cover in the boreal forest. During migration they stop in weedy fields, forest edges, fence rows, and other areas with scattered trees and shrubs.
