Monday Nature Mystery

Congratulations to Eric for correctly identifying a female Palm Warbler (Setophaga palmarum). According to All About Birds, Palm Warblers breed in bogs and areas with scattered evergreen trees and thick ground cover in the boreal forest. During migration they stop in weedy fields, forest edges, fence rows, and other areas with scattered trees and shrubs.
Each Monday we’ll post a new photo and identify the previous week’s winner. They’ll receive an ASNV hat or tote bag.
