Idaho recently became the first state in 2022 to enact a Texas-style, S.B. 8 copycat abortion ban. Idaho's ban, known as S.B. 1309, bans abortion at approximately six weeks of pregnancy. That's before many people even know they're pregnant.

Yesterday, Planned Parenthood filed a petition in the Idaho Supreme Court to block this dangerous abortion ban.

The ban is set to go into effect on April 22 -- that's only three weeks away.
