Hi comrades,
We were closed out of all of our usual meeting places this month; a frenzied search for a replacement venue finally landed us at the North Adams Library, at 74 Church St. Unfortunately, they close early, so our meeting will have to be a little earlier than usual: we’ll be starting at 6pm tomorrow evening.

On the bright side, we’ve been talking about trying to cover north and south counties by holding meetings up north and south, so that gets us on this track!

On the agenda for the meeting will be a report from our Exec Committee meeting with Alex Morse, current mayor of Holyoke who is running from the left to unseat corporate Representative Richard Neal.

Also, a viewing of the second video in organizer Jane McAlevey’s presentation on organizing, and a discussion of the issues she raises.

Amillie Coster, our Communications Coordinator, came up with a great idea for opening the meeting: please bring a favorite quote about socialism (with source) to share with all of us!

See you tomorrow:

6pm
North Adams Public Library
74 Church Street, North Adams

Solidarity!
John.
