Hi John,

If we miss this chance to protect the Boundary Waters, we could lose one of the most important wild natural habitats on earth, where the water is so clean you can drink straight from the lake.
This is why we must permanently protect this unique ecosystem from the massive, irreversible harm that would result if sulfide-ore mining were permitted in its watershed.
TRIPLE MY GIFT! [[link removed]]

Today, you have the opportunity to show your commitment to safeguarding this pristine Wilderness with a triple-matched gift. That means when you give just $10 it will automatically turn into $30 if you give by this THURSDAY , March 31 at midnight.

In fact, nearly a fourth of our annual budget is comprised of gifts of just $100 a year or less. We build our power for the Boundary Waters in numbers. Will you join us?
Serene natural wild spaces are nothing to take for granted. Wilderness remains a place that we can retreat to for solace and peace.
Unfortunately, the Boundary Waters Wilderness is threatened by toxic sulfide-ore copper mining. Mining proponents would love nothing more than for us to become complacent, but we refuse to rest until we’ve secured permanent protection.

Recent action from the Biden administration put the immediate Twin Metals mine threat on pause, but until Congress passes a law, future leases could still be granted , leaving the wilderness in jeopardy.
Pitch in today for Wilderness protections by making a 3X matched gift to the Boundary Waters.

P.S. Until we ensure that the Boundary Waters is protected forever, it will always be at risk from those who put profits over people and care of our planet. Give today [[link removed]] and ensure that we secure permanent protection of the Boundary Waters - forever.
