Unfortunately, the Boundary Waters Wilderness is threatened by toxic sulfide-ore copper mining. Mining proponents would love nothing more than for us to become complacent, but we refuse to rest until we’ve secured permanent protection.

Recent action from the Biden administration put the immediate Twin Metals mine threat on pause, but until Congress passes a law, future leases could still be granted, leaving the wilderness in jeopardy.
